I am sure that Jeff will come on here shortly and give his thoughts on this game, but in the battle of first name players, LeBron showed once again why he is the 3rd or 4th best player in the league.

Actually, in this game he looked like the 3rd of 4th best player on the FLOOR.

The game was close until halftime, but the Lakers used a strong 3rd quarter to pull away. LeBron failed at everything. More turnovers than assists, he missed 16 shots (including 4 of 5 treys and 4 of 8 from the charity stripe) and his defense was sub-par.

Kobe, on the other hand, made up for a off-shooting night by dishing off 12 assists and leading his team to a complete dismantling of the ’2009 MVP’ and ‘Best Team in the East’ (according to everyone at ESPN)

Maybe the hype is finally getting to LeBron? Everyone named him the King before he did anything in this league. But there is only one stat that matters.

Jordan=6 rings.  Kobe=3 rings. LeBron=No rings, just bling.
