When the LeBrons have an off day, usually I like to post YouTube videos or other awesome pictures of LeBron getting owned. However, this time, I am just going write about Kobe’s RIDICULOUS effort against the Knicks in MSG. He dropped 61 points on the helpless Knicks and set an all time Madison Sqaure Garden record. Wilt didn’t get 61. MJ didn’t get 61. Magic didn’t get 61. But Kobe did.

He was on fire all night, hitting 19 of 31 shots from the field and an amazing 20 out of 20 from the line. Not a bad shooting day. And he probably would have had 80 points if Gasol didn’t have a great game himself, scoring 31 and grabbing 14 boards.

As Chris Sheridan said on his ESPN Daily Dime column;

And to King, Jordan, Chandler, D’Antoni and that anonymous Knicks fan in the Four Seasons weight room, you now have an explanation as to what motivated Bryant to pull off the performance he did.

And to LeBron James, you now should be fully aware what the arena scoring record is when you make your last MSG appearance of the regular season on Wednesday night. The magic number will be 62.

See LeBron, this is how you do it. I am going to go out on a limb and say you will NEVER have a game that comes close to that, especially given the fact you cannot hit a free throw to save your life.

So breathe it in LeBron. This is how a real man do.
