Hollinger Blows

Okay, not everyone over at ESPN are idiots, but sometimes I wonder if they are even watching the same NBA season as we are. John Hollinger posted his Power Rankings this week, and at 5-3 he has the Miami Heat over the defending, and undefeated 2 time NBA champion LA Lakers. As Jeff stated, ‘only 12 year olds listen to Hollinger’ and that is just sad. He states his formula is built on some grand mathmatical formula but there is only one thing that matters mathmatically in the NBA. Wins. PERIOD. The Heat have three losses already, 10 teams have a better win/loss percentage right now.

ESPN, get off their nuts already. The team is obviously a talented team, and I get everyone thinks they are some supergroup, but the Heat aren’t even the best team in the East, let alone the entire league. They have proven nothing to this point, but mosey on over to ESPN and they have a HEAT INDEX section on the MAIN PAGE of their NBA coverage. I don’t see a LAKE SHOW link. They didn’t have a BULLS RUN link when the Bulls were, oh I dunno, doing something 6 times in an 8 year period that shows greatness, unlike ANYTHING LeBron has done to this point.
